TOPSupport our Walk to End Alzheimer's Team!

You can help us support our local Network programs by contributing to the Network's team in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™. The money we raise goes toward research to treat and prevent Alzheimer's disease, and also to assist our local Network programs to improve the lives of those already affected and their family members.

Click here to learn more about the Memory Walk, make a donation, and walk with our team — or on your own — at Mission Creek Park at Mission Bay on Saturday, September 24, 2011 and enjoy a day in San Francisco. You can make a donation online at this site by clicking on General Team Donation, or you can download a PDF of the Donation Form here and mail it with your check. Your donation is tax deductible. You can even fundraise for our team. You do not have to attend the event to join our team.

Support our team and become a champion in the cause to end Alzheimer's disease! The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's™ is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's disease. This event is sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association of Northern California and Northern Nevada.

Employment Opportunities/Career Opportunities

Get Involved

In addition to supporting the Network and the people we serve by donating personally, through work, or the Alzheimer's Memory Walk, you can also get involved by volunteering at an adult day center or become a Network board member.

Adult Day Health Centers and some Adult Day Services Centers hire nurses, social workers, Class B drivers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dietitians, program assistants, recreation therapists, certified nurses aides and home health aides on a full- or part-time basis.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are always welcome at Adult Day Services Centers. Volunteers interact with the participants. This can include playing games, helping with arts and crafts, or just talking. Some programs also have volunteer musicians on occasion as well as people with therapy and entertainment dogs, etc.

For Employment or Volunteer Opportunities, please contact the Adult Day Services program center where you would like to participate. Visit our Program Locations page for information on centers throughout Contra Costa County.
